It’s swim season. The beach and pool look more inviting the first time the temp climbs over 90. Hell, fishing, sailing; anything that gets you out on the water and away from the stifling heat on land. Now you can do it in style, or at least in a little more style. The Kingii Wearable is the new wristband for all those who love water! If you need help to stay afloat, pull the lever and an inflation bag will pull you to the surface. The device is lightweight and can be worn in and around water. You can use Kingii time and time again. If you love swimming, surfing and the water, you will love Kingii.
Kingii is the world’s smallest floatation device for everyone who loves water. After his best friend tragically drowned, Kingii’s founder, Tom Agapiades, set out to develop a convenient recreational water device that could provide additional buoyancy in water when needed. The result is Kingii, a wristband that can easily be activated.
Additional buoyancy when you need it
Kingii is strong enough to support an adult of 130 kg/285 lbs. Insert a new new CO2 cartridge, and Kingii is fully reusable. Kingii has won the prestigious Edison Awards 2016, an annual competition designed to honor excellence in new product and service development, marketing, human-centered design and innovation
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) drowning has been an overlooked cause of death with 372,000 people drowning every year. The WHO has named drowning “A leading killer“ and has requested governments and research teams to take action to prevent drowning. Whereas Kingii cannot replace a life vest or Personal Flotation Devices, it can provide additional buoyancy. Our goal is to continue advocating and revolutionizing water safety globally.
